When a Lovegobuy Link Does Not Work

Short answer: If a link will not open on Lovegobuy, it is usually a short share link without the item number, a shop or search page rather than a product, or a listing that has been removed. Open the original link in a browser, copy the full product address, and run it through our link converter again; if the listing no longer exists, choose a similar item instead.

Picture what went wrong

A friend messages you: "check this out" followed by a link. You copy the whole message into the converter and it says "Unsupported". Why? Most likely one of these:

Extra words were pasted along with the link. Paste only the address.
It was a short share link. These often redirect and do not contain the product number. Open it first, then copy the address from the browser bar.
It points to a shop, not a product. The converter needs a single item page.
It is from a marketplace we do not convert. Only Weidian, Taobao, Tmall and 1688 product pages are supported.

What a convertible link contains

Weidian: an itemID number
Taobao or Tmall: an id number
1688: an address ending in /offer/number.html

If the product page here works but Lovegobuy does not

The seller may have changed or deleted the listing since our last catalog refresh. Look at Alternatives on the product page, or browse the same category, brand or best finds.

If Lovegobuy opens the item but shows nothing useful

Give it a moment and refresh; the agent might still be loading the listing. If the problem stays, send the original marketplace URL to Lovegobuy support.
